After graduating from CSU, Chico, Katie continued her education at Franklin Pierce University by pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While at FPU, she completed electives covering chronic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and sports rehabilitation. Since graduating she has completed multiple certification courses, including LSVT BIG (a series of interventions for adults with Parkinson’s Disease), soft tissue mobilization and decompression, sports rehabilitation, urinary incontinence in athletes, strength and conditioning for female athletes, and thrust joint manipulation.
When she is not in the clinic, Katie enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities. On the weekends she can be found working out at her local gym, riding her mountain bike and road bike, skiing, paddleboarding, or taking her dog for a run. If she is home instead, she typically bakes, reads, paints, or gardens.
