From the beginning of OT school, Dezarina knew she wanted to specialize in hands. She previously worked as a hand therapy aide for both a PT and OT for one year where she gained valuable insight into the profession. Dezarina finds the anatomy and complexity of the hand to be fascinating and is committed to helping her patients regain their prior level of function so they can engage in the activities that are meaningful and important to them.
In her free time she enjoys cycling, hiking, Tahitian dance, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
