Synergy Orthopedic Specialists is thrilled to announce that Daniel Brereton, DO; Tal S. David, MD; John “Andy” Grotting, MD; Gavin Kolodge, DO; Jonathan Myer, MD; and Rina Jain, MD have been named 2025 Top Doctors by San Diego Magazine.
Each year, this prestigious honor is awarded in partnership with the San Diego County Medical Society (SDCMS), which has collaborated with San Diego Magazine for over two decades to celebrate clinical excellence in the region. Through an extensive peer-nomination process, physicians across San Diego were asked to vote for colleagues in their own specialty as well as across other fields—specifically those to whom they would entrust the care of friends or family. The process is rigorous: for 2025, just 885 physicians across 102 specialties were selected for inclusion from thousands of active clinicians, representing only a few percent of practicing doctors in each area.
Every nominee’s credentials and Medical Board of California standing is thoroughly vetted before final recognition. Our six honorees exemplify not only exceptional clinical skills and dedication to patient care, but also are regarded as trusted leaders by their peers in the medical community.
