Kaitlin Thomas, PT, DPT

Kaitlin (better known as Katie) was born and raised in San Diego, and after moving away for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees she returned home in 2019. Katie attended San Diego Mesa College before transferring to CSU, Chico where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. While she was studying at Mesa College and CSU, Chico, Katie competed in Cross Country and Track and Field.

After graduating from CSU, Chico, Katie continued her education at Franklin Pierce University by pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While at FPU, she completed electives covering chronic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and sports rehabilitation. Since graduating she has completed multiple certification courses, including LSVT BIG (a series of interventions for adults with Parkinson’s Disease), soft tissue mobilization and decompression, sports rehabilitation, urinary incontinence in athletes, strength and conditioning for female athletes, and thrust joint manipulation.

When she is not in the clinic, Katie enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities. On the weekends she can be found working out at her local gym, riding her mountain bike and road bike, skiing, paddleboarding, or taking her dog for a run. If she is home instead, she typically bakes, reads, paints, or gardens.
