Following residency, he was offered a fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles where he completed advanced training in interventional spine and pain management.

Dr. Kolodge takes a holistic approach to the treatment of painful spine and musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on the restoration of function and an improved quality of life. He offers a broad range of interventional treatment options for patients utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and technologies including: epidural steroid injections (ESI), nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations (rhizotomy), peripheral joint injections, regenerative therapies, neuromodulation using spinal cord stimulators and peripheral nerve stimulators. He is also trained in electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG) & nerve conduction studies (NCS), which utilizes a nerve test performed in the office to aid in the diagnosis and prognosis of certain neurologic conditions. Dr. Kolodge and his staff look forward to providing comprehensive pain management solutions to the San Diego community and welcome all new patients to the practice.
