Dr. Berger attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, where he participated in multiple research projects and graduated with Dean’s List honors.
After this, he furthered his medical education by completing his residency in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery in Houston, Texas. During his residency training, he presented at multiple conferences and received various awards. He served as Chief Resident in his final year. After completing his residency, Dr. Berger moved back home to Southern California to begin practicing podiatric medicine.
Dr. Berger joined Synergy Orthopedics in 2022 and sees patients at the La Jolla office. He is an active staff member at Scripps La Jolla Hospital, Scripps Encinitas Hospital, Sharp Memorial Hospital, and Sharp Grossmont Hospital.
In his free time, he enjoys running, golfing, traveling, attending sporting events, and trying new restaurants.
