Michael R. Lenihan, M.D.

Michael R. Lenihan, M.D., has been in private practice in San Diego since 1992 and is a Founding Member and Medical Director of Otay Lakes Surgery Center in Chula Vista. He is also a Founding Member and President of Synergy Specialists Medical Group, Inc., a twelve physician orthopaedic group.

He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Southern California where he graduated at the top of his class. After an Orthopedic Residency at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center, he subsequently completed a Sports Fellowship with the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic for Sports Medicine where he assisted physicians attending to professional athletes engaged by the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, Kings, Angels, PGA Tour, Senior PGA Tour and Hollywood Park Racetrack. He also served as Team Physician for LMU as well as the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament.
