Katie Herbst is a board-certified physician assistant who was born and raised in San Diego. She attended UC Santa Barbara where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies. She later completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences, where she honed her clinical skills and deepened her knowledge of evidence-based medicine. Before pursuing her advanced degree, Katie gained invaluable experience as a medical scribe in an emergency room and as an EMT, developing a strong foundation in fast-paced, patient-centered environments.
